Masterlinq Support

Updated: Dec 27, 2024

The Shopify Settings page allows you to configure your product feed and syncing options with Masterlinq. Below is a detailed description of each setting and how it impacts your feed.

1. Catalog Inclusion Mode

This is the primary toggle for your product feed, determining whether items and brands are included or excluded from the feed.

  • On: When this button is turned on, only items and brands that are specifically added will be included in your product feed.

  • Off: If the toggle is off, all items will be included in your product feed by default. (Not recommended).

2. Product Price

This setting determines the pricing structure used for your products.

  • Lightspeed Pricing: This option will use the price from your POS system if available. If no price is found, the system will default to the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price).

3. POS System Stock Priority

This option helps you prioritize physical stock when syncing inventory.

  • First: If your store has the item in stock, it will be prioritized and selected from your physical location.

4. Price Sync

This setting controls whether prices are synced between your Masterlinq catalog and your Shopify store.

  • On: Prices will automatically update between the Masterlinq catalog and your website.

  • Off: No price updates will occur, and your Shopify store will not receive price changes from the Masterlinq catalog.

5. Remove Images

This setting allows you to remove product images when listing products on your Shopify store.

  • On: Images will be excluded from the product listings on Shopify.

  • Off: Product images will be included in the listings by default.

6. Draft Mode

When enabled, this setting creates product listings as drafts rather than live items.

  • Recommended for Testing: This is ideal for when you are testing the app, as it prevents products from being visible to customers until you are ready to go live.

7. Store Pickup Setup

This section allows you to configure the shipping rate name for local pickups.

  • Custom Shipping Rate: This is for stores that add "In Store Pickup" as a shipping option, not the native Shopify Local Pickup option.

  • Setup: You must enter the exact shipping rate name that Shopify uses for this option. Once entered, the address will be updated to the location provided in this setting for store pickups.

8. Removing a Location

If you need to remove a location from your Shopify settings, please contact support for assistance.
